I am a Finnish journalist and blogger specializing in travel and environmental issues. I have been authoring articles for Finnish Magazines and Newspapers since 2001. The photographs in articles are mostly taken by me.
As a freelancer, I take on economic risks, including the time spent traveling and writing, as well as travel expenses. Some articles are bought shortly after the trip, but sometimes the period between actual site research and publication can be years. However, this method has been fruitful as the best ideas often emerge while traveling.
Recently, I have focused on my independet blog when it comes to travel. My blog Mummo matkabloggaa is aimed at Finns aged 38+ (travel, inspiration, literature)
